BUILD A QUIZ
The quiz builder
Questions on the left, points in the middle, a live preview of what the respondent sees on the right.
Owners and MakersStarting from a template
New quizzes start from a template with the questions already written, because editing beats a blank page. Change the wording to how you would actually say it — short, concrete questions finish more often.
The four stages
| STAGE | WHAT YOU DO THERE |
|---|---|
| Questions | Wording, helper text, sections, answers and their points. |
| Scoring | Question weights and the score bands. |
| Results | The contact step, band copy, the result email and the breakdown. |
| Publish | Pre-flight checks, going live, the link and the embed code. |
A question
- Prompt — the question itself. Ask about their situation, not your product.
- Helper text — optional, one line under the prompt for the caveat that stops people guessing.
- Section — optional grouping shown on the respondent's progress rail, and used as the category in their result breakdown.
- Answers — two or more. Each carries points from 0 to 10.
The preview on the right is the real respondent view, updating as you type. Nothing you see there is a mock-up.
Saving
The builder saves the whole outline in one action — Save changes. Until you press it, edits live in the browser only, and the header shows unsaved changes. Publishing a quiz saves it first.
